20.04.10 1979, when Jörg was only 10 years old, his parents signed the first equipment contract with JOOLA for their son. The cooperation with our company has lasted for 31 years. During that time there have been many highs in the career of Jörg Roßkopf. Achievements like the World Doubles title with Steffen Fetzner, becoming European Champion in Stuttgart 1992, two olympic medals, winner of the World Cup and several other titles at national and international levels. Personal highlights were certainly marriage to his wife Sabine and the birth of their three children.

But there also have been lows: two long injuries that put him out of action for more than 18 months and when he wasn't nominated for the finals of the World Team Championships in Qatar, despite an excellent performance during the tournament.

From July, Rossi will coach the German National Team, a new and challenging assignment. He will surely be an excellent role model for current players and he will bring his complete wealth of experience.

But one thing won't change, Jörg Roßkopf is the JOOLA legend! He has and always will characterise the face of the JOOLA brand. His knowledge will continue to form an integral part in the design and development of JOOLA equipment. For sure, more than ever....
