Olympic Games

Official equipment supplier to 3 consecutive Olympic Games …

… this is not something that happens overnight. It takes a lifetime of experience in the manufacture of top products for top performance sports. The ITTF (International Table Tennis Federation) entrusted JOOLA with the supply of the equipment for three consecutive Olympic Games, happy in the knowledge that the best quality and playing conditions were guaranteed for the best players at one of the world’s most significant sporting events.

At the Olympic Games in Atlanta the finals table was still designed in a traditional way, but then in Sydney the idea of the „show court table“ was born, which prompted many officials to say that table tennis had the most impressive presentation of all sports at the Olympic Games 2000. The Olympic Games in Athens saw the introduction of the indirectly illuminated table, setting a standard which nowadays applies to conventional tables. The outstanding features of the JOOLA competition table top, reflecting over 50 years of manufacturing experience, are incorporated in all ITTF approved tables leaving the JOOLA factory.
